So if you’d like to know what colors best suit you, you have landed on the correct page.
What color suits you best?
Wearing color is a tricky, the choice of color is overwhelming and intimidating! But stylish men and women know the art of how to wear color without looking like a Teletubby. The right shade of color has the power to give your look an instant shot of radiance.
Unless you have a color consultation it’s difficult to say at a glance.
Don’t let anyone tell you a color doesn’t suit you. There will always be a shade, tone, intensity of that color which will compliment you more than others.
Determine Your Undertone.
Your skin’s undertone is either cool, warm, or neutral. Here’s how you can decide which you fit into:
Your veins on inside of your forearm. If they appear blue ( you may have a cool skin tone) or green (you may have a warm skin tone).
Test gold and silver jewelry, place both metals close to your face see which one flatters your face more. Silver jewelry looks good on cool skin tones while gold flatter warm ones. You may instinctively gravitate towards the more flattering metal already.
Your sun reaction. People with cool undertones tend to burn more easily than people with warm undertones, who just get darker in the sun.
Your hair color:
For warm – ranges from dark brown to dark blonde hair.
For cool – ranges from very dark (blue black or very dark brown) to light blonde.
For neutral – is a combination of colors—blonde with ashy streaks or brown with warmer tones.
Your skin tone:
For warm has a greenish or a yellowish (golden) undertone. Olive complexions also fall in the warm category.
For cool has a bluish undertone. It can also range from very fair to very dark.
For neutral: Hard to determine—you can’t tell if you’re warm or cool.
